Julian Busic
Julian is a Senior Security Solutions Architect, who works with AWS customers and their regulators to adopt the AWS cloud in a secure, resilient and compliant manner.
Prior to joining AWS, Julian worked for the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) in the IT Risk team, responsible for the supervision of banks, credit unions, insurers and superannuation funds, licensing of new entrants to the financial services industry, and development of APRA’s prudential standards and guidance.
Byron Pogson
As a member of the field security team at AWS, Byron is dedicated to enhancing security outcomes for customers in Australia and New Zealand. He not only cultivates CISO-level relationships but is also recognised as a trusted advisor, assisting customers post-incidents to recover and apply lessons learned.
His previous experiences have enabled him to build a broad knowledge base, including roles as lead developer at a start-up, a team lead and solutions architect in the mining industry.
